We are for music

Outernet London is located at the historic heart of the British music industry; the place where stars like Elton John, Sex Pistols and David Bowie made the first steps in their stellar careers. The district offers a brand new 2,000 capacity venue, the legendary 12 Bar Club, now restored, plus additional places to play or busk - and a not-for-profit recording studio.

The iconic 12 Bar

The 12 Bar Club has been lovingly restored and expanded. It now boasts three levels with multiple spaces for live music and an increased capacity of 500. First opened in 1994, The 12 Bar, which played host to artists early in their career including Jeff Buckley, Adele and The Libertines, has been much missed by fans and artists alike.

A mecca for musicians

For over 100 years Denmark Street has been a mecca for musicians and the music industry. Music shops, publishing empires, recording studios and rehearsal spaces gave the street its unique ambience attracting writers such as Lennon & McCartney, Bernie Taupin & Elton John, and Lionel Bart - father of the west-end musical.
